Infertility is defined as the inability to conceive after a year of unprotected intercourse. When a woman becomes pregnant but continues to have miscarriages or stillbirths, this is referred to as infertility. Infertility can be classified into two types: Primary infertility occurs when a couple has never conceived or, if they have, the pregnancy ends in miscarriage or loss. Secondary Infertility- This occurs when a couple has a child but is unable to conceive again. The majority of couples have Primary Infertility. Males can be sterile, contrary to popular perception. Both are equally likely to be sterile. Female infertility is a condition in which the female is the source of the infertility, making it difficult for her to conceive a child. Its roots can be difficult to locate. During sex, the egg normally fertilizes with the sperm as it passes through the vagina and into the uterus, where the egg is present. However, because of female infertility, that egg is unable to fertilize with the sperm, and even if it does, the resulting embryo is unable to develop properly. There are numerous therapies available depending on the cause of your infertility.
